Myron Mahendra

Chief Financial Officer

Myron Mahendra was educated at the University of East Anglia (BSc in Accounting and Computers in 1988). He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse London in 1991 and has worked with a variety of Property Companies in the UK and Europe.

Myron’s skills encompass business strategy with the detailed evaluation of property acquisitions, disposals and arrangement of innovative funding solutions. Myron’s core responsibilities include application of financial controls, reporting financial results, and working closely with our auditors and tax advisors to ensure the group’s business objectives are met. He has financially and strategically managed numerous funds on behalf of a variety of investors, two funds (£102m and £130m respectively in size) of which was rated 1st and 2nd respectively for their performance against similar funds as measured by the Investment Property Databank (IPD) in 2003 and 2004 and returning 40% and 102% geared IRRs to the investors.

Myron has also put together various Development Joint Ventures, overseeing 5m sq ft of development schemes. JV partners include Equitable Life (£100m), Morley (part of Aviva) Fund (£200m), Helical Bar and Lehman Brothers.
