Tom was Managing Director of O’Donnell Building Contractors from 1970 – 1988, servicing both the private and public sectors. The company was involved in numerous projects including social housing for housing associations and private client work for numerous leading architectural practices.

In the 1980s, Tom undertook his own commercial developments and also formed Arranminster Consultancy Services providing a holistic approach to property development services.

In 1991, Tom joined Hartnell Taylor Cook as a consultant, culminating in his role as International Development Director, with a specific remit for Scandinavia and later The Baltics and Eastern Europe. In 1997, Tom formed Anglo-Swedish Consultancy Company (HIFAB-AGORA) with Scandinavia’s largest Project and Construction Management Groups’ and he remains Joint Managing Director. Tom has been working alongside Chairman Hayden Chittell since 2002.
