Badaling:
The Badaling Great Wall Peace Forum is located in Yanqing County, a model in ecological protection nationwide. The forum is three kilometers from the Great Wall and less than an hour's drive from Beijing.
Currently, the opportunity exists to provide accommodation, recreation, retail and public facilities catering for tourists, business conferences and international conventions. Even in its current under-developed state, the Badaling section of the Wall attracts 10 million visitors per year.
The Great Wall is a symbol of man's ability to engineer beautiful and enduring constructions, something EPGI aspire to in our own Design & Development projects. The Badaling Peace Forum inverts the Great Wall's historical purpose as a means of division and enclosure, taking advantage of its iconic status and global importance to help forge new partnerships in a world that seeks to promote peace without losing cultural tradition and diversity.
