Pioneer Point:

Landmark, mixed-use scheme amounting to approx 1/3 of a million square feet of development. The scheme comprises approx 80,000 sq ft of net lettable commercial space located in a 4-level glazed podium structure, over which are situated two residential towers of 33 and 24 storeys respectively, providing 294, 1 bed and 2 bed apartments. The scheme achieved the active backing of the Mayor of London's Office, the GLA Urban Design Office, Transport for London (TFL) and The Deputy Prime Minister's Office, which later caused the East London Transit Link proposals to be brought forward, and for public transport facilities to be situated immediately outside the project. The scheme also received backing from English Heritage, and The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England.
